Your Responsibilities


Although we repair many items, we do not do everything.

You are responsible for:

  • Blocked drains or toilet waste, except where pipework is faulty
  • Broken plugs and/or chain, including missing ones
  • Blinds and curtains
  • Decorating, including after any repairs you or we carry out
  • Small or hairline cracks in plaster on walls and/or ceilings
  • Damp, mould and condensation

  • Kettle, toaster, microwave and other non-essential appliances
  • Replacing keys or locks
  • Doorbell
  • TV aerials and satellite dishes
  • Aids and adaptations
